DIGITAL X-RAY

A digital X-ray makes use of ionizing radiation to produce images (radiographs) of diagnostic value to aid the doctor in making a diagnosis for the patient.

Here at Doctor 365, we have digital x-ray that conforms to the world-class standard and is advanced.

We do all types of xrays and also those for special procedures like Hysterosalpingography (HSG), Micturating Cysto-Urethrogram (MCU), and many others.

A list of xrays we perform

  • Chest xray
  • Abdominal xray
  • Paranasal sinuses
  • Upper Limb xrays
  • Lower Limb Xrays
  • Pelvis/Hip
  • Entire spine xray

We do a whole lot of xrays, even the ones not listed above, as the list is exhaustive. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information on your xray.

CT-SCAN

A CT scan makes use of ionising radiation to produce a cross-sectional image of the anatomy of the human body. A CT scan can be done for patients with metallic implants and pacemakers where an MRI scan is contraindicated.

We have a 64-slice CT scanner that can be used for calcuim scoring scans and coronary angiography.

List of CT scans that we perform

  • Brain
  • Neck
  • Angiography
  • Cardiac CT scan
  • Coronary Angiography
  • Abdominal CT Scans
  • CT Urography
  • Pelvis/Hips
  • Upper Limb CT Scan
  • Lower Limbs CT Scan
  • CT Scan of the entire spine

We do a whole lot of CT scans, even the ones not listed above, as the list is exhaustive. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information on your scan.

DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY

Digital mammography is the use of low-dose radiation to examine the breast for diagnosis and treatment. It is an x-ray picture of the human breast, and the doctor uses it to look for early signs of breast cancer. It is recommended that women between the ages of 40 and older should consider mammography annually or biannually. It can be classified as listed below.

  • Ages 40–44 should be given the option to begin screening mammograms once a year based on family history and risk factors, as early detection improves chances of survival.
  • Ages 44–54 should get a mammogram once every year.
  • Ages 55-older should get a mammogram once every two years but can continue doing it annually based on family history and risk factors.

Women with high risk factors, such as a family history of breast cancer or genetics, will be screened with a mammogram as well as a breast MRI scan. This can be determined by the doctor.
